Ighani Sporthorses offers an advanced training program for the serious rider from every level. Our mission is to develop the best rider and horseman that each one of our clients could be because we are sure that everyone is capable of making progress. For that we find it essential to encourage the growth of love and respect for our sport and our horses.

The process

Daniel’s training of the horse and rider is based on a positive, encouraging, and extremely focused approach. He pays special attention to the details and truly can give the rider and horse confidence to achieve great success. He enjoys passing his knowledge on to students and the horses he works with. His experience in the USA and Europe make him extremely well rounded and knowledgeable with many different kinds of horses and students at all levels of training.

Daniel and Ighani Sporthorses believe that the horse needs to stay mentally and physically fit. That means giving them the opportunity to be out of their stall throughout the day and see difference places. They should be expose to various activities when training, such as hacks,  dressage work, lunging, caveletti work and riding in the open. Each horse is evaluated on a specific basis. Based on their individual needs the right program is developed. 

Ighani Sporthorses pays special attention to the basics of our sport and for that we bring into play the use of Dressage in our daily work. Dressage lessons are also available for Jumper and Eventing riders who wish to strengthen their flat work for better results over the fences. Ighani Sporthorses has seen what a significant difference it makes for the jumping horse and rider to have the cross training of dressage work. A relaxed, supple horse that truly understands the riders aids becomes a much more responsive and capable jumper when asked to do their job. Along with the horse, the rider becomes more aware of their aids and effectiveness through the dressage work.
